Four core badges come from real desk activity, never from signing up. Live routing is not a toggle you flip when you feel ready โ it has explicit, checkable requirements.
The four core badges
First Fill
Your first executed paper trade. Proof you can get an order from idea to fill.
Ten Fills
Ten closed round-trips. Enough activity for expectancy to start meaning something.
Curator
Demonstrated selection discipline โ passing on setups is part of the skill.
Gatekeeper
Working the human approval gate properly: reviewing what a bot staged and deciding on the evidence.
A fifth badge, ๐ญ Gardener, exists outside the core four and is not required for live access.
What live routing actually requires
All four core badges, AND a non-negative expectancy measured over CLOSED round-trips, AND a human review of the request. All three. Not two of three, and not a support ticket asking nicely. Open positions do not count toward expectancy โ an unrealised gain is a hope with a timestamp, not evidence. We would rather lose an impatient customer than hand a beginner live options.
"If you cannot write the receipt, you do not understand the trade." The capstone is graded on receipts โ a losing trade executed to plan passes; a winning trade with no receipt fails.
